    I did not expect Jumbo would keeps sponsoring Max. Jumbo is second largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands, but not does not operate abroad. Although Frits van Eerd the owner of Jumbo is probably the reason behind this – he is a real race fan. He has a collection of at least 30 old F1 cars, including a couple of Minardis, a Ferrari, McLaren, Benetton, Copersucar-Fittipaldi .
    In 2006 he won the Dutch National rally championship. This year he drove the Dakar rally in a truck and he is now dreaming of LeMans.
